Preparation for Consecration to Divine Mercy, 33 Days to Merciful Love
Sunday January 9 – Friday February 11, 2022
I have not written a lot of papers lately. I have kept my daily hand-written notes completely up to date and there has been absolutely no slow down whatsoever in the occurrences of the 13, 33 and 333’s. Lately for the most part it seems to focus mainly on the rosary. Since 1998 I have written many papers describing how praying the rosary has coincided with the sudden manifestation of the numbers 13, 33 and 333. I don’t see how writing another paper describing this will add to my written eye witness account of the apparitions of Our Lady at St. Joseph’s in Emmitsburg despite the fact that 24 years later it continues to happen.
However, there are certain events that take place that are so intrinsically dependent on the actions of others that I can’t consider the event complete until after I have written it down and included it with my collection of papers beyond my daily notes describing the events in Emmitsburg. This is one of those papers.
Monday January 3
I woke up this morning and it was snowing very hard. It was one of those heavy wet snow’s that break trees and cause power outages. Our power went out and S.C.C. suggested that we pray a rosary. We sat in the living room and S.C.C. started the Joyful mysteries of the rosary. I glanced at my watch as she began and the time was 10:13:13. I glanced at my watch again as we finished and the time was 10:33:13.
Wednesday January 5
S.C.C. and I went to the 8:30 mass this morning at <Home Parish>. When mass was over Marc G. stopped me and asked if we had power. I told him we did and that we only lost it for about 8 hours. Marc then asked if his girlfriend, Anna and her son Eddie and daughter Stephanie could stay at our house until their electric power is restored. S.C.C. and I said yes. Later in the day they arrived. I had to do a mortgage closing and then I stopped by <Home Parish> and prayed the Joyful mysteries of the rosary. I finished the rosary and glanced at my watch and the time was 3:33.
Sunday January 9
S.C.C. and I went to the 8:30 mass at <Home Parish> and after mass ended Marc came up to me to thank me for letting Anna and her kids stay at our house for 3 days. It was then that Marc invited S.C.C. and I to take part in the 33 Days to Merciful Love Consecration focused on the writings of St. Therese of Lisieux. Marc then suggested that we all go to The Grotto of Lourdes in Emmitsburg to do the actual consecration on the last day which would be Friday February 11, 2022, the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. I did not yet have a book and Marc said he would email me a copy of the first day prayers. Later in the day I checked my email and Marc had sent the prayers. I glanced at my watch and the time was 4:13.
January 10- February 10
Each day during this time our group individually prayed each day’s reading and meditations.
Friday February 11
Consecration Day and Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes
Today is consecration day for the 33 Days to Merciful Love. I had no idea what the plan for the day was. The only thing I knew is that four of us would be going to the Grotto in Emmitsburg to do the consecration. The four were Marc, his mother Sylvia and girlfriend Anna along with myself. I arrived at <Home Parish> and as soon as I did I was met by a car with the license plate of 13.
After about 5 minutes of discussion it was decided that Marc would drive. Marc drove to Emmitsburg and we arrived and stopped first at St. Josephs. I glanced at my watch and the time was 10:33.
The church was locked. I said a quick prayer and we all left to go to the 11 AM mass at the Grotto. Mass was beautiful and the priest was Fr. Ted Trinko. During his homily Fr. Ted talked about Our Lady appearing to Msgr. Hugh Phillips at the Grotto many years ago. I remember Msgr. Phillips and he enrolled me in the Brown Scapular back in 1999. Mass ended and was followed by the Glorious mysteries of the rosary.
After the rosary Marc and his mom wanted to look around the gift shop. When that was done Marc asked me if I wanted to go eat or go to the Statue of St. Therese and complete the consecration. I told Marc that I have “no agenda” and anything they want to do is fine with me. With that Marc said “Let’s do the consecration” and we walked to the statue of St. Therese. We arrived and I glanced at my watch and the time was 1:13. We began the consecration and the time was still 1:13.
After we completed the consecration we rode back into Emmitsburg and ate lunch at the Ott House. After lunch Marc said he would like to go to the basilica. We arrived and took the complete guided tour. When the tour was completed we started the drive home. We got as far as Warrenton where we had to stop to drop Anna off at her car that had been in the repair shop. Then we drove back to <Home Parish> where our cars were parked. I then drove home and despite all the delays and side trips I pulled in my drive way and the time on the dash was 7:13. I glanced at my watch and it was 7:13:59.
I later wrote my daily notes describing the day and finished and the time was 8:13:33.
